Fitter Welder Pay:$18.00 per hour (DOE) Location:Glenpool, OK 74033 Shift:Monday Friday | 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM Job Type:Temp-to-Hire Job Order #:124494 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Fitter Welder to join a fabrication team in Glenpool, OK. This hands-on role focuses on fitting and welding structural steel components including handrails, ladders, stairs, and platforms according to blueprints and fabrication specifications.

Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of fitting and welding experience REQUIRED Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and specifications Experience fitting and welding handrails, ladders, stairs, platforms, and structural components Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fabrication shop environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality Ability to safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication tools Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required Essential Duties & Responsibilities Fit and weld structural steel components according to blueprints and project specifications Fabricate handrails, ladders, stairs, platforms, and related assemblies Measure, fit, align, and prepare materials for welding and final assembly Ensure all completed work meets quality, dimensional, and structural standards Safely operate welding equipment and fabrication tools Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all workplace safety procedures and shop production standards Support team production goals and assist with additional fabrication tasks as needed Work Environment Industrial fabrication shop environment Exposure to welding equipment, steel materials, industrial tools, sparks, heat, and active production areas Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, bending, repetitive movement, and PPE compliance Why You ll Want This Opportunity Stable Monday Friday day shift schedule Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Great fit for experienced structural fitters and welders Hands-on fabrication work with steady production demand Opportunity to work on custom structural fabrication projects Ready to Apply?
