Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday

Here's what we're looking for.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred
• CSWIP, AWS, HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent welding inspection certification required
• Previous experience as a Welding Inspector required
• Advanced knowledge of TIG, MIG, laser, butt, and arc welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding specifications, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of welding quality standards and inspection procedures
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and welding best practices
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to supervise, train, and provide guidance to welding personnel

Job Duties:

• Inspect welding operations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Review welding specifications and verify proper procedures are followed
• Issue welding certifications or approvals to qualified personnel as required
• Inspect completed welds and assess weld quality, strength, and conformance to specifications
• Verify proper welding equipment, materials, and techniques are being utilized
• Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions or alternative welding methods
• Demonstrate and promote proper welding procedures and best practices
• Support the development and implementation of improved welding techniques
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
