Welding Machine Repair - Mechanical (Semi-Skilled)

• Responsibleforrepair andmaintenanceofallmanual, semi-automatic,and automatic welding equipment
• Repair andmaintenanceofalloxygen/propane, oxygen/acetyleneburning, preheat, and related equipment
• Repair and maintenance of all mold in place equipment
• Repair and maintenance of magna drills, boring bars and related equipment
• Repair andmaintenanceofhydraulicjacks,pumps, and associated equipment
• Work conditions may include confined spaces

Required:

• High School Diploma, GED, OR have 2+ years of related technical experience
• 1-5 years of repair and maintenance experience ofallmanual, semi-automatic,and automatic welding equipment
• Security clearance to enter all areas of the shipyard (CIA) is required
• Must be able to work until the end of the normal scheduled shift hours
• Must have the ability to distinguish between colors for the purpose of performing the job

Preferred:

• 3 - 5 years of experience repair and maintenance experience ofallmanual, semi-automatic,and automatic welding equipment
• 1+ years of PC background experience in parts and equipment ordering and tool tracking issues/collection
