As a Welding and Manufacturing Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality fabrication and welding processes. Youll work closely with your team to deliver top-notch products while maintaining safety and efficiency in the shop.
What You'll Do
As a Welding and Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Performing TIG or MIG welding according to blueprints, drawings, or specific instructions experience with stainless steel and aluminum required
- Monitoring production processes to ensure accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications
- Adhering to all safety procedures and PPE protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures
- Recording production data such as quantities produced, scrap rates, and issues encountered during manufacturing
- Collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and quality control team members to maintain workflow and meet production goals
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Hands-on experience with MIG or TIG welding, especially on stainless steel and aluminum
- Basic understanding of metal fabrication processes and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety practices and effective communication skills
