## Job Opening: Welding Robot Operator
Wieland is hiring a Welding Robot Operator. The welding robot operator will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of welded metal components by operating, setting up, and maintaining automated robotic welding systems.
### Location & Schedule
- Location: Delaware, OH (Fully On-Site)
- Starting Pay: $30 per hour plus $0.75 shift differential
- Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday (4:00pm - 2:30am)
- Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly
### Training
Training will be on 1st Shift (2 - 4 weeks):
- Monday - Thursday
- 6:00am - 4:30pm
### Responsibilities
- Following the production orders, prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies by teaching the robot and executing robotic welding.
- Execute welds in accordance with companys procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
- Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing minor malfunctions as needed.
- Inspecting finished welds for conformance to specifications.
- Verifying and documenting welding processes and any variations.
- Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.
### Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in robot operation - robotic welding strongly preferred.
- Experience and certification in welding in accordance with ASME standard a plus.
- Ability to read and apply WPS and read drawings.
- Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
- Methodical, organized, and precise.
- Proactive in proposing solutions.
