## Job Opening: Welding Robot Operator

Wieland is hiring a Welding Robot Operator. The welding robot operator will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of welded metal components by operating, setting up, and maintaining automated robotic welding systems.

### Location & Schedule

• Location: Delaware, OH (Fully On-Site)
• Starting Pay: $30 per hour plus $0.75 shift differential
• Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday (4:00pm - 2:30am)
• Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

### Training Training will be on 1st Shift (2 - 4 weeks):

• Monday - Thursday
• 6:00am - 4:30pm

### Responsibilities

• Following the production orders, prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies by teaching the robot and executing robotic welding.
• Execute welds in accordance with companys procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
• Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing minor malfunctions as needed.
• Inspecting finished welds for conformance to specifications.
• Verifying and documenting welding processes and any variations.
• Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.

### Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in robot operation - robotic welding strongly preferred.
• Experience and certification in welding in accordance with ASME standard a plus.
• Ability to read and apply WPS and read drawings.
• Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
• Methodical, organized, and precise.
• Proactive in proposing solutions.
