EDUCATION/SKILLS:
- Variety of welding skills as stated on the latest version of the ATS Welding Technician Training Chart
- Associates Degree in Welding Technology or two (2) years experience without degree
- ability to travel on short notice for extended periods
- self motivated with high level of initiative
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- problem solving skills
- written and verbal communication skills in English
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- complete day to day activities of assigned areas and projects
- communication with all levels of management, engineering and clients
- tasks may include operation of cranes, forklift, general housekeeping, assisting with weld setup and equipment mobilization/demobilization
- meet assigned project timelines
- other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- while performing these duties, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands/arms and talk or hear
- the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- reasonable visual acuity for the work performed
Working Conditions:
- non-temperature controlled environment
- moderate to noisy environment with periods of intense sound
