HotFoot Recruiters is hiring experienced welders with a background in semiconductor or cleanroom-related construction. This position focuses on automated orbital welding and supports tool install, piping, and process systems on high-profile fab construction projects in Arizona.

Position: Welding Technician (Semiconductor Construction)
Location: North Phoenix, AZ (TSMC Site - 85085)
Type: Temp to Hire
Salary: $38-$45 | DOE
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Perform automated orbital welding on stainless steel and high-purity tubing per semiconductor standards.
  • Assist with pipe fitting and mechanical install as needed for fab construction.
  • Read isometric drawings and follow layout instructions for pipe routes.
  • Operate orbital welding machines and ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
  • Work in or around cleanroom environments following contamination control procedures.
  • Collaborate with field teams to maintain schedule and minimize rework.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of orbital or automated welding experience, preferably on semiconductor or high-purity gas piping projects.
  • Prior experience supporting fab construction projects
  • Familiarity with tubing prep, purge processes, and welding stainless steel (316L, etc.).
  • Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, and fabrication plans.
  • Comfortable working extended hours or weekends during construction peak periods.
  • Must have valid U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available).
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certified is a plus.
