Welding Technology Instructor

Days: Monday - Friday Location: On-Site Salary: Starts at $52,000 and increases depending on experience

State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for full-time, 9-month annual contract, exempt and benefit-eligible or non-benefit-eligible. The Instructor position for the Welding Technology program.

Required Qualifications

  • Five years welding work experience.
  • Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree in related field or willingness to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pipe welding/fitting experience.
  • Welding certifications.
  • Training experience.

Job Responsibilities This position would instruct and develop courses that may include the following:

  • Structural & pipe welding with related classes such as:
  • Blueprint reading
  • Thermal cutting processes
  • Hoisting & rigging
  • Welding inspection & testing
  • CNC plasma cutting
  • Metal fabrication
  • Robotic welding

Additional duties include student recruitment, advisement, and college service.
