Overview:

The Lease Operator supports daily oil and gas field operations by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring production facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with operations and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on oil and gas production equipment.
• Monitor and maintain production facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with operational, environmental, and safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Complete accurate field documentation, reports, and data entry.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to support production activities.
• Travel between field locations as needed to perform assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of oil and gas production equipment and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between field locations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty. 
• Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, and stopping are required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
