We are seeking a Wellness Assistant to support fitness, recreation, and wellness programs that enhance residents’ quality of life.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Assist the Wellness Coordinator with planning and implementing fitness programs, wellness activities, and campus-wide events.
• Support resident fitness assessments and provide guidance or personal training support as directed.
• Help residents safely use fitness equipment, participate in classes such as yoga and aquatic exercises, and navigate wellness programs.
• Assist in developing engaging programs and activities that promote health, wellness, and community involvement.
• Train and support volunteers while fostering a welcoming and energetic environment for all participants.
Schedule: Monday - Saturday 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 / hr DOE
About You
• Experience in fitness, recreation, physical therapy, or a related field preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in physical fitness, recreation, or related field preferred.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required; lifeguard certification preferred.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and ability to safely instruct others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, resident-focused approach.
