Wellness Director

Valencia at Draper is looking for a Wellness Director to lead resident care in our assisted living community. You'll oversee the care team, keep us compliant with Utah regulations and make sure residents and families get care they can trust. You'll report directly to the Executive Director.What You'll DoDo resident assessments (move-in, 6-month and change of condition) and create or update service plansTrain caregivers on medication administration and delegate med passesReview resident medications every six months and oversee medication storage and recordsCoordinate with families, physicians, pharmacy, hospice and home healthHire, schedule, train and evaluate caregivers, with support from Care CoordinatorsManage the care budget and keep agency staffing to a minimumKeep the community survey-ready and compliant with Utah assisted living rulesDo pre-admission assessments and help with tours and family inquiriesRequirementsActive Utah RN licenseCPR and First Aid certificationAssociate's degree or higher3–5 years of nursing leadership experience preferred (hospital, home health or assisted living)Strong communication and leadership skillsAble to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyWhy Join UsLeadership role with real autonomySupportive Executive Director and teamBenefits: health, PTO, 401(k), 6 paid holiday
