WorldSprings is the outdoor, social-wellness experience that helps every guest feel better through globally-inspired soaking waters.
Job Summary:
The Wellness Guide is responsible for delivering exceptional, immersive wellness experiences while elevating the overall class program at WorldSprings Dallas. This role leads by hosting best-in-class sauna rituals and wellness classes.
This is a hands-on role that blends performance, hospitality, and operational excellence. This role is central to delivering the WorldSprings experience. The Wellness Instructor sets the tone for our wellness programming, creating moments that guests remember, return for, and share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and host Aufguss rituals and wellness classes with a high level of energy, professionalism, and guest engagement
- Create memorable, elevated experiences that align with the WorldSprings brand
- Curate and prepare music, scents, and materials for each class
- Ensure all class materials, scents, and supplies are fully stocked and organized
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all class and sauna spaces
- Prepare rooms prior to each session (temperature, lighting, setup)
- Support initiatives to increase class participation and overall guest engagement
- Consistently high guest satisfaction and positive feedback
- Engaging, well-attended classes and rituals
- Clean, organized, and well-prepared class environments
- Ongoing innovation in class offerings
Qualifications
- Experience in group fitness, or wellness instruction preferred
- Candidates must complete WorldSprings Aufguss training prior to employment
- Strong presence, communication skills, and ability to engage groups
- Passion for wellness, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including but limited to:
- Heat Tolerance: Must be able to perform high-energy, rhythmic movements in temperatures ranging from 180°F to 200°F for 10 to 20 minutes at a time.
- Stamina & Endurance: Ability to lead multiple classes per shift, typically involving 3–4 intense "rounds" of towel waving and steam distribution per session.
- Upper Body Strength & Agility: Proficiency in "towel waving" techniques (the art of fan) which requires significant shoulder, arm, and core strength to manipulate heavy, wet towels and create targeted air currents.
- Mobility: Constant standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Instructors must often move quickly around a hot sauna heater with coals and navigate tiered seating while fanning.
- Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb buckets of water/ice and large stacks of towels
Work Environment Details:
- Extreme Thermal Cycling: Frequent transition between intense sauna heat and cold plunge areas or outdoor rest zones
- High Humidity: Exposure to sudden bursts of steam
- Sensory Environment: Working with essential oils (aromatherapy), choreographed music, and theatrical lighting.
- Safety & Surveillance: Constant monitoring of guest safety. Instructors must be able to identify signs of heat exhaustion or dehydration in guests while managing their own physical state.
- Attire & Hygiene: Work is performed in high-heat-appropriate attire. High standards of personal hygiene are mandatory due to the close proximity to guests in a humid and high intensity class.
