Westview Jr/Sr High School Food Service - 5 hr

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or this may be waived by the building principal
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work with students and staff on a daily basis.

Reports To: Food Service Manager

Job Goal: To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter.
• Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter when necessary.
• Removes used dishes and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables and furnishings in the dining area.
• Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.
• Performs related duties as required including duties at special meal functions.
• Authorizes the deductions of money from individual lunch accounts.

Terms of Employment: Ten, eleven or twelve month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
