The Wet Chemistry Analyst prepares and analyzes water, oil, soil, and sediment samples while accurately documenting results and maintaining laboratory records. This role requires working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production laboratory and reports to the Wet Chemistry Supervisor or Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze client samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, bench sheets, and logbooks
  • Use LIMS to manage sample batches and report results
  • Prepare reagents, perform quality checks, and manage chemical inventories
  • Clean glassware and maintain an organized work area
  • Properly handle and dispose of laboratory waste
  • Assist with SOP reviews and updates
  • Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Support additional laboratory tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Experience with Ion Chromatography, Spectrophotometers, and Flow Segmented Analyzers preferred
  • Knowledge of good laboratory practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under deadlines
Physical Requirements
  • Stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
  • Lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity for laboratory work
  • Schedule
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Overtime, occasional evenings/weekends, and one holiday shift annually as needed
