Job Title: Concessions/Cashier

Location: Veterans Memorial Arena, 1201 7th Ave E

Rustad Recreation Center, 601 26th Ave E

The West Fargo Park District is hiring friendly and enthusiastic individuals for Concessions Staff at the Veterans Memorial Arena and Rustad Recreation Center. Position Overview

As a Concessions and Cashier team member, you will be responsible for operating concession stands, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for guests. This role involves a mix of customer interaction, food service, and teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve concession stand food and beverages according to safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Operates various concession equipment safely and efficiently.

• Works safely, including attending appropriate training on workplace safety, following safe work practices, identifying and reporting any unsafe work conditions, enforcing and promoting safe work practices, and encouraging coworkers to support all areas of work safety.

• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the register system.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession stand and equipment.

• Restock inventory and report any shortages to the supervisor.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.

• Follow all park district policies and health codes.

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup at the concession stand.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility, with shifts available during weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.

• Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills; basic math skills for handling transactions, and punctual attendance.

• Experience: Prior food service or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
