The West Fargo Park District is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Youth Soccer League Coaches to lead soccer drills and games for young players. As a Youth Soccer League Coach, you will lead drills and games for children ages 4-7 at the West Fargo Soccer Complex. Your primary responsibility is to create a fun and educational environment where kids can develop basic soccer skills while learning teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Lead soccer drills and games for youth ages 4-9, focusing on skill development and fun.
• Create age-appropriate activities that promote learning, teamwork, and enjoyment of the sport.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment where young athletes can grow in their confidence and abilities.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up after each day's activities.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during drills and games.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding participant progress.
• Collaborate with other coaches to ensure smooth and successful program delivery.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
• Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to motivate and work with children.
• Experience: Previous experience in coaching or working with youth is preferred.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of soccer and the ability to teach fundamental skills to young players.
This position requires part-time availability on evenings in July, depending on the program schedule.

July 6th - 29th (Mondays-Thursdays) 5:00-7:30pm
