SUMMARY
The Wheel Finishing Team Member plays a key role in the final stages of the cheese production process. This position is responsible for executing all aspects of the wheel treatment process, including the handling of aged cheese wheels and preparation of finished, treated products. The role also involves performing routine and periodic sanitation of equipment, ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Success in this role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This is a 3rd shift position working Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm to 7:15am. Base pay is $21.00 per hour, plus an additional $4 per hour shift premium for 3rd shift.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member will occasionally be exposed to extreme, non-weather-related cold as well as wet and/or humid conditions. On a typical workday, the Team Member will work in refrigerated conditions with temperatures ranging from 35-60 degrees. The Team Member will work around safeguarded machinery with rotating, mechanical parts, and conveyor belts. The Team Member will occasionally be exposed to caustic and/or toxic chemicals used for sanitation and cleaning. Due to the loud noise levels, ear protection is required.
