We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our airport wheelchair service team!
Transport passengers in wheelchairs throughout the airport. Provide excellent service for every customer to support a positive airport experience.
Responsibilities
Transport passengers in wheelchairs to and from their flights inside the terminal
Greet and assist all customers in a friendly manner
Assist with lifting passengers in and out of wheelchairs and seats as needed
Follow all HHS and regulatory procedures and best practices
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
Adhere to all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements (training provided)
Must be able to provide clear, concise, and polite directions
Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a motor vehicles record
Preferred: Customer service experience (aviation, airline, patient transport, patient care)
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time and to lift up to 70 pounds
Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
