The Wheelchair Technician performs and provides essential maintenance, repair, and cleaning to all facility-owned wheelchairs, powerchairs, shower chairs, and applicable fleet accessories. This role coordinates closely with clinical staff to set up hospital-owned wheelchairs and powerchairs for inpatients based on specific clinical requests. Additionally, the technician manages digital inventory systems to track all hospital fleet components, coordinates ordering replacement parts with the Wheelchair Program Manager, and assists vendors by preparing equipment for trials.
