    White Collar & Investigations Associate Attorney

    Compensation

    $235,000 – $365,000+

    A premier international law firm is seeking a White Collar & Investigations Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

    This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing corporations, financial institutions, executives, boards of directors, and individuals in government investigations, internal investigations, white collar defense, and complex commercial litigation.

    Ideal Background

    2–5 years of white collar, investigations, or complex litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm, government agency, or U.S. Attorney's Office

    • Experience conducting internal investigations, responding to government inquiries, and advising clients regarding regulatory and enforcement matters

    • Experience interacting with federal and state prosecutors, regulatory agencies, and criminal and civil enforcement authorities

    • Experience handling matters involving securities, commodities, financial transactions, corporate governance, fraud, and regulatory enforcement is preferred

    • Experience assisting with complex commercial litigation, including motion practice, discovery, witness preparation, and trial preparation

    • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

    • Ability to independently manage sophisticated investigations and litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction

    Federal judicial clerkship experience is strongly preferred

    • Large law firm experience is strongly preferred

    Law review, moot court, or journal experience is preferred

    • Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school

    New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
