Automotive Wholesale Parts Advisor
Jaguar Land Rover Portland is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly motivated Wholesale Parts Advisor to join our team.
We operate at a high level and are looking for a professional who takes ownership of their responsibilities, manages their time effectively, and consistently follows established policies and procedures without requiring repeated reminders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist retail, wholesale, and internal customers with accurate parts identification and ordering
- Provide professional, timely, and knowledgeable customer service
- Research parts using electronic catalogs and available manufacturer resources
- Prepare accurate estimates, invoices, and special orders
- Monitor open orders, backorders, and special-order reports
- Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records
- Communicate clearly with customers, technicians, service advisors, and other team members
- Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Support the department’s sales, gross-profit, productivity, and customer-service goals
Required Qualifications
- Automotive parts knowledge is required
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize responsibilities, and complete assignments independently
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures consistently
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Willingness to accept accountability and carry an equal share of the team’s workload
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous dealership parts experience
- CDK experience
- Jaguar Land Rover parts or dealership experience
- Experience with retail, wholesale, and internal repair-order transactions
