Wholesale Sales Lead LFS

Overview:

LFS, Inc. was established in 1967 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Trident Seafoods. Our corporate headquarters is in Bellingham, WA and we have three year-round locations in Washington State: Bellingham, Seattle, and Poulsbo. LFS also has five year-round locations in Alaska: Anchorage, Cordova, Dutch Harbor, Homer (Kachemak Gear Shed), and Sitka; and three seasonal locations in Kenai, Dillingham and Naknek. While our core business is supplying the commercial fishing industry, we have evolved to include industrial and sports netting sales, hydraulic sales and services, wholesale/industrial sales, recreational marine and outdoor sales, and internet sales.

Responsibilities:

Job Summary

Provides sales, administrative, and customer service support to the Outside Wholesale Team by assisting with product sourcing, pricing, quotations, order processing, and customer communications. Acts as a liaison between wholesale customers, Purchasing, and Distribution teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Maintains product and pricing information, resolves customer concerns, and supports sales initiatives through the preparation of promotional and sales materials. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

 

Essential Functions

• Support the Outside Wholesale team with customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process estimates, sales orders, invoices, and quotations for wholesale customers.
• Coordinate customer follow-up activities and assist with sales call planning.
• Create and maintain price sheets, spreadsheets, promotional materials, and other sales-related documents.
• Manage incoming emails, phone calls, and other communications from wholesale customers.
• Serve as a liaison between Sales, Purchasing, and Distribution to ensure products are ordered, received, and shipped on schedule.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain positive customer relationships.
• Research potential suppliers, products, and pricing opportunities.

This is temporary position. Position will end on 12/31/26. Pay for this position is $30.00 per. 

 

This is a non-benefited position. No medical, PTO or paid holidays. You will accrue WA Sick leave.

Required Qualifications:

• Four-year degree or up to three years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education & Experiences:

• Four-year degree or up to six years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trust across cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

Work Environment:

This is a remote position; you would work from your home office.

 

Work Ability Requirements: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer and phone.
