The 3PL Coordinator will be working under the direction of the 3PL Manager and will be responsible for multiple facets of inventory transactions and communication of necessary movements between several different production plants and 3PL warehouses.  The 3PL Coordinator will be the primary contact for product movements and 3PL order invoicing and will confirm and communicate when requests and tasks are completed.  This role will maintain reports and work with a diverse cross functional group including outside vendors to execute tasks as needed by the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules and coordinates the inter-movement of product between all plants and 3PL warehouses
• Executes offsite strategy to maintain utilization targets in frozen and refrigerated areas of the warehouse
• Collaborate/coordinate with materials management, sales, and transportation on stock transfer orders and 3PL invoices
• Responsible for timely and accurate transactions in our WMS system (JDA) to invoice 3PL shipments to customers
• Investigation into root causes of inventory discrepancies and write on/write offs at 3PLs
• Coordinate movement of inventory from non-distressed to distressed locations in 3PL warehouses
• Track inventory vs. orders and work with supply chain and sales teams to move inventory offsite or onsite to meet orders
• Responsible for proper changes of quality, HACCP and frozen inventory statuses at 3PL warehouses
• Support 3PL Manager on continuous improvement projects and offsite inventory/execution best practices
• Give priorities and direction to team on the floor executing on STO loads/unloads
• Attend and participate in relevant meetings (i.e. offsite execution meetings, 3PL vendor meetings and other meetings as assigned)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or Equivalent 
• 2+ years’ experience in assembly and/or manufacturing environment
• Experience in inventory movement preferred
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Basic math skills i.e. multiplication
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Working knowledge of JDA or similar WMS
