Role name: Wi-Fi Test and Automation Engineer

Role Overview:
-Strong experience (5–8 years) in device testing, wireless networking or broadband hardware.
-Perform end to end user experience testing of gateways, Wi Fi extenders, and home networking devices, covering functional, performance, regression, and interoperability scenarios.
-Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts (Java, cucumber) to increase coverage and efficiency.
-Validate Wi Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul.
-Analyze and troubleshoot issues across end-to-end
-Work with protocols such as DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP and other connectivity standards.
-Drive automation strategy, improve test processes, and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
-Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure high quality, stable releases.
-Conduct root cause analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend improvements.
-Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and help shape test strategy at a product/feature level.
-Excellent communication, problem solving, debugging, and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
