Job Description
The WIC IT Applications Lead (Systems Analyst V) Works under the general supervision of the IT Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Applications Manager. The Systems Analyst V role performs advanced (senior-level) systems analysis work analyzing, developing and maintaining the complex WIC systems within the IT Application Services department supporting the Family Health Services (FHS) portfolio area. Supervises, and oversees, the work of other technical staff. Oversees the ongoing development and maintenance of WIC systems, proactively Producing and documenting solutions for complex problems. Ensures the team follows all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC), adhering to all agency quality and security standards. Coordinates projects that involve other teams and programs in the agency. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Selected candidate must work onsite from an HHS office located in Austin, Texas designated by the hiring manager.
