Our WIC Program is committed to supporting families with flexible hours, operating Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. We offer a nurturing and collaborative environment where your contribution truly makes a difference.

Support and empower mothers by providing peer counseling on breastfeeding topics and addressing common concerns. Distribute helpful breastfeeding resources and handouts to participants. Engage with pregnant women in the WIC clinic to gather essential breastfeeding history.
Lead engaging discussion groups on breastfeeding and offer personalized counseling. Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring confidentiality and accurate record-keeping. Make referrals to relevant health professionals or social services as needed.
Participate in staff meetings and meet monthly with your supervisor to review progress. Track infants' growth by measuring weight and height, and ensure proper documentation is entered into the system.
Offer flexible breastfeeding support beyond regular clinic hours and adapt to various electronic and manual information systems used by the agency.

Candidates must be currently breastfeeding or have breastfed at least one baby for a minimum of six months, possess a positive attitude toward breastfeeding, and demonstrate a desire to assist other mothers in having a rewarding experience.
