Wide Format Production/Installation Technician

Screen printing/Embroidery/Wide Format Company is seeking a career minded Wide Format Production/Installation Technician with the skillset to take the job from start to installation meeting the required deadlines.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in large format printing, print production, or a related production/manufacturing environment

· 2+ years of experience with installation

· Hands-on experience operating large-format printers, Raster software, and finishing equipment

· Experience with a Mimaki printer – a plus

· Comfortable working with a variety of media, inks, and substrates, with a willingness to learn new print technologies

· 2+ years of experience with using a heat press

Responsibilities

· The Large Format Print Production Technician is responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day print production

· This hands-on role manages projects from file preparation through printing and finishing, while ensuring quality, accuracy, efficiency, and on-time completion

· The Production Technician works across a variety of large-format printing technologies, media, inks, and finishing application

· Prepare files for print production, ensuring accuracy and proper setup for a variety of substrates and applications

· Operate large-format printers and finishing equipment to produce samples, signage, and other printed materials

· Troubleshoot production issues related to equipment, media, or file setup, and resolve them quickly to minimize downtime

· Coordinate production schedules and priorities to meet deadlines for customers

· Track and manage production supplies and media inventory, ordering materials as needed

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy

· Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment and routine maintenance
