Promote positive customer relations by providing a full range of informational services to patrons upon entry to the facility in a friendly, professional manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Greets customers upon entry to simulcast facility, grandstand, or any other designated area where customer's entry or patronage is required in a friendly, professional manner.
Furnishes information (both printed and verbal) regarding all customer-related services provided throughout the facility.
Provides direction to groups scheduled for specific events regarding all informational services and products.
Approaches all encounters with guest and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
Monitors guest for problems and reports any such findings to Department Manager.
Maintains and completes all opening/closing duties according to procedures set forth within the department.
Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.
May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled.
Have the ability to accomplish a multitude of duties as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires excellent communication skills, basic math and reasoning ability under extreme public scrutiny.
Detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks as assigned.
Excellent customer service and cash handling skills required.
Must be able to communicate fluently in English and to follow instructions as given.
Bilingual a plus.
Data entry skills a plus.
Training:
3 - 6 months of cash handling experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions.
