Minimum Qualifications:

 

One of the following:

•  Bachelor’s degree in health-related field
•  Associate degree in health-related field and 1 year of experience in Health Information Systems
•  5 of the last 7 years’ experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician*

 

Licensure/Registration/Certification:

 

*If hired under 5 of the most recent 7 years’ experience as licensed Pharmacy Technician must provide:
•  Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
•  Current Alabama State Board of Pharmacy (ASBP) with Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP)

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in and working knowledge of Pharmacy Informatics
• EPIC Willow System Certification

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

Implements, develops, programs, and provides overall support for pharmacy clinical systems.  Performs customization within EPIC Willow System, along with other associated activities, to prepare assigned programs and screens.
