North Reading Public Schools has openings for part-time Extended School Year Wilson Reading Tutors.

North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.

Position Details:

  • This position is for the full five (5) week program from July 6, 2026 through August 6, 2026.
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday.
  • Dates of employment and specific hourly schedules may vary in accordance with program.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide Wilson Reading tutorial services to students during the Extended School Year program.
  • Complete end of summer progress report for identified students.
  • Provide school-based arrival/dismissal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (grades PreK-8 and/or 5-12).
  • Certified in Wilson Reading.
  • At least three (3) years relevant experience.
