    Description

    • Duties

    - Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, delivery trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers- Transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules

    • Qualifications

    - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for commercial driving- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo

    • Required Skills/Abilities

    - Strong understanding of winch truck operations and winching techniques.- Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on winch truck systems and equipment.- Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in oil and gas field operations.- Ability to recognize and mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.- Effective verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.- Ability to follow instructions accurately and provide feedback on operational challenges.- Good physical condition to handle the demands of lifting, securing, and maneuvering heavy equipment and materials.- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and rough terrain.- Strong problem-solving skills to address mechanical issues, logistical challenges, and operational obstacles.- Ability to make quick and informed decisions in emergencies.- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate load securing, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.- Careful documentation of operational and maintenance activities.
    • Preferred Skills:

    - Experience driving refrigerated trailers or tankers is a plus- Familiarity with operating roll-off trucks or forklifts is an advantage
