Wind Drivetrain Technician

About the role:

The Wind Drivetrain Technician performs up-tower drivetrain repairs and mechanical upgrades on wind turbines. The technician must identify issues and complete repairs safely in the field.

Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities include gearbox repairs, bearing replacements, generator work, drivetrain disassembly and reassembly, and commissioning-related support, with 100% travel required.

Qualifications:

• Valid GWO, BST, ART, and BTT certifications
• Experience with wind turbine gearboxes, including Winergy, Nanjing, ZF, or equivalent
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Valid drivers license (required to operate company vehicles)
• Willingness to travel 100%
