    Description

    Location: Rumney, NH

    The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location.

    Salary Range: $26.50 to $31.50/hour DOE

    Job Summary

    Join our team and help drive the operational success of our renewable energy facilities. The Plant Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support for wind and solar sites through the coordination of inventory management, purchasing, work order administration, budgeting activities, and other business operations functions. This role serves as a key partner across Operations, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams, helping ensure efficient processes, accurate data, timely material availability, and seamless support of plant operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where adaptability and proactive problem-solving are key to success. This Plant Administrator will be responsible for supporting two wind plant facilities and will require area travel between both sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    The Plant Administrator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Complete daily review and timely closure (TECO) of all work orders
    • Management of site inventory which includes: updating the Availability Focused Inventory (AFI), submitting the weekly inventory order and conducting monthly cycle counts as well as maintaining a clean and organized stockroom. Ensure timely receipt of inventory (from both internal and external sources) into site inventory
    • Creation of purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) ensuring coding accuracy
    • Update the Bill of Materials (BOM) as needed and release Preventative Maintenance Work Orders per company policy to ensure timely delivery of PM materials
    • Creation of purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) ensuring coding accuracy
    • Complete timely receipts and/or estimated accruals in SAP for goods or services
    • Work closely with the Plant Manager and Buyer/Planners on all bid events
    • Ability to initiate, track and complete the Large Corrective Maintenance process (i.e. work order creation/completion, crane bid, heavy haul, etc.)
    • Replenish office supplies and materials for the site as needed
    • Set up new suppliers as required and ensure invoicing is completed timely and accurately
    • Plan and coordinate company functions such as team building events, regional meetings, etc.
    • Assist site personnel with required trainings and provide IT support as needed
    • Provide timely and professional responses to requests such as reports and e-mails 
    • Assist and provide support to site staff on new fleetwide initiatives, operational changes, etc.
    • Have a basic understanding of accounting practices in order to provide timely and accurate responses to reports regarding Financial and Budget Performance
    • Work closely and in a professional manner with all areas of the business

    to ask questions and seek out answers (from peers, trainer, Manager, Plant Administration, etc.) to resolve issues or concerns as they relate to plant Administrator duties

    Required Qualifications

    • HS Diploma/GED and minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a comparable administrative role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the ability to set up MS Windows profiles, email settings, printer access and desktop shortcuts, and the ability to interface with Helpdesk support on network and local server issues. Demonstrated skills in typing and proofreading.
    • Must have basic knowledge of SAP or similar data entry programs

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience of maintaining and adhering to inventory controls and purchasing and receiving activities.
    • Demonstrated hardware skills such as the ability to move electronic equipment within the office space, knowledge of network access and computers, printers and peripherals.

    Position may require up to 10% travel.
