ABOUT THE ROLE
TransAlta has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate Wind Technician to join our Wind Operations team at the Big Level Wind Facility.
As the Wind Technician, you are primarily responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the Big Level wind asset through the application of operating/maintenance standards, procedures, and processes that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also help develop and implement operations and maintenance strategies. Along with being accountable for ensuring the portfolio adheres to TransAlta’s operating model.
This is full-time,salaried position based out of our Wind Facilityin Westfield, Pennsylvania.
As this role is safety-sensitive, the successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing.

THE PERKS
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is USD$55,500 - USD$95,500 at the time of this posting. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. The top end of the range is reserved for individuals with exceptional, directly relevant expertise and a demonstrated history of strong performance within TransAlta. This range reflects base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits.
