Salary Range: $43-$48 per hour on W2

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Technical Manager / PLM Technical Lead with strong expertise in PTC Windchill PDMLink and enterprise PLM implementations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and delivering Windchill implementation, upgrade, migration, integration, configuration, and customization projects.

The candidate should possess a strong understanding of PLM business processes, Windchill architecture, APIs, integrations, data migration, and infrastructure, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, program managers, business analysts, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale Windchill PLM implementation programs from requirements through deployment.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and align technical solutions with business and program objectives.
• Collaborate with client Program Managers and onsite/offshore teams on project activities and deliverables.
• Work with Business Analysts to understand, analyze, and clarify functional and business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and Windchill solutions.
• Prepare and review As-Is and To-Be process documentation.
• Analyze PLM business processes and recommend appropriate Windchill solutions.
• Lead 2 3 end-to-end Windchill PLM implementation cycles.
• Provide technical leadership for Windchill configuration and customization.
• Work on Windchill implementation, upgrade, migration, integration, and deployment activities.
• Understand downstream applications and their integration with Windchill.
• Address architectural, design, integration, infrastructure, and deployment challenges.
• Provide Proof of Concepts (POCs) for complex technical requirements when needed.
• Guide technical teams in developing appropriate Windchill solutions.
• Support onsite teams with technical documentation, solution design, and implementation guidance.
• Ensure implementation follows PLM best practices and client standards.
• Collaborate with customers, peers, developers, architects, and cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill / Windchill PDMLink.
• Experience with Windchill PLM implementation, upgrade, and migration.
• Minimum 2 3 end-to-end PLM/Windchill implementations.
• Strong understanding of PLM business processes.
• Extensive Windchill configuration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture and APIs.
• Experience with Windchill integrations and downstream applications.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, solution definition, and technical design.
• Experience handling data migration activities.
• Strong understanding of PLM integrations, architecture, infrastructure, and deployment.
• Experience with Windchill modules such as:
  • PDMLink
  • PartsLink
  • Suma
  • MPMLink
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into scalable Windchill solutions.

Program / Project Management Skills

• Experience working on large-scale PLM transformation and implementation programs.
• Strong project definition and planning experience.
• Ability to coordinate multiple technical and functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing implementation risks, dependencies, and technical challenges.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively within highly matrixed organizations.

Education / Experience

• 12 16 years of total IT/technical experience.
• Strong Windchill experience, with 5 7+ years specifically in Windchill PDMLink.
• 8 10+ years of PLM/Windchill functional experience preferred.
• At least 2 complete end-to-end Windchill/PLM implementation cycles.
• Experience in implementation, upgrade, migration, integration, configuration, and customization projects.
