Job Title: Winding Machine Operator
Location: Sparta, NJ
Job Description:
Responsible for setting up and operating winding machines to complete work orders according to customer specifications. Tasks include feeding, winding, and cutting materials, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring product quality.
- Set up and operate winding machine.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Manually feed and position materials to meet order specifications.
- Read work orders to determine product requirements (form, temperature, speed).
- Load materials onto machine and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Notify supervisor of equipment issues and forecast winding schedule.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, materials, production processes, and quality control.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and RF scanning.
- Strong communication skills (active listening, verbal communication).
- Consistent work schedule adherence and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for handling winding materials and applying pressure..
- Ability to lift/move boxes up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, with at least 1 year of relevant experience or training.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM Temp-to-perm
Pay: $19-$22
