Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Window Assembler for a manufacturing opportunity in Tulsa. This position is responsible for building specialized windows and pressure relief screens used in MRI rooms.
This is a hands-on assembly position involving woodworking, frame construction, screening, staining, glass installation, and trim work. Candidates should be comfortable using hand and measuring tools, performing detailed assembly work, and following established production and safety procedures.
Because staining is performed using a pressurized paint gun inside a paint booth, this position requires the use of respiratory protection and compliance with applicable respirator requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience using hand tools preferred
Experience using measuring tools preferred
Basic woodworking or carpentry experience is a plus
Ability to safely use or learn staple guns and assembly equipment
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Ability to accurately follow production instructions
Ability to perform repetitive hands-on assembly work
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Cut wood materials for window frames
Measure materials before cutting and assembly
Assemble window frames
Use staple guns and hand tools
Stretch screening material
Install screening into applicable assemblies
Prepare frames and screens for staining
Apply stain using applicable equipment
Clean glass panels before installation
Install glass into completed frames
Assemble trim components
Install trim pieces
Inspect completed products for quality
Identify obvious defects or assembly concerns
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all company safety procedures
Wear required PPE and respiratory protection
Perform additional assembly and production duties as assigned
Window & Frame Assembly
Candidates may regularly perform:
Measuring
Wood cutting
Frame construction
Stapling
Screening installation
Glass installation
Trim assembly
Final product inspection
Attention to detail is important throughout the process to ensure finished windows and screens are assembled correctly.
Woodworking & Cutting
Measure wood materials
Cut components to required dimensions
Prepare pieces for frame assembly
Position components correctly
Assemble frames using appropriate tools
Verify fit and alignment throughout assembly
Previous woodworking or carpentry experience is helpful but not listed as a requirement.
Screening & Trim
Stretch screening material evenly
Position screens within frames
Secure screening materials
Assemble applicable trim components
Install trim pieces
Inspect finished work for fit and appearance
Glass Installation
Clean glass panels
Handle glass carefully
Position panels within assemblies
Install glass according to applicable production requirements
Inspect completed installations for cleanliness and quality
Staining & Paint Booth Responsibilities
This position requires regular use of a pressurized paint gun and aerosolized stain inside a paint booth.
Candidates must be willing and able to:
Apply stain according to production requirements
Work inside the designated paint booth
Follow all respiratory protection procedures
Complete required respirator fit testing
Wear required respiratory protection correctly
Maintain the required respirator seal throughout applicable work
Respiratory Protection Requirement
This position requires respirator use as an essential part of the job.
Under the employer's stated Respiratory Protection Program, male employees in this position must be clean shaven and remain clean shaven while working in the role so facial hair does not interfere with the respirator seal.
Employees will be fit-tested for required respiratory protection and must maintain a proper respirator fit in accordance with applicable workplace requirements. Failure to maintain required respirator compliance may prevent an employee from performing essential duties of the position.

Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Manual dexterity required for assembly and tool operation
Ability to safely handle wood, screening, trim, and glass components
Comfortable performing repetitive hands-on production work
Ability to safely work around cutting and assembly equipment
Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection
