Must read blueprints and have experience with power tools and construction.
Pay: $18 to $25/hr. depending on experience
Hours: 6:30am to 5pm with OT in the summer
- Measuring and preparing openings: Accurately measure window spaces and prepare surfaces for installation to ensure a precise fit and proper alignmen
- Installing window frames and units: Position, secure, and seal window frames and glass using hand and power tools, adhesives, caulking, and fasteners
- Repairing and replacing windows: Remove old or damaged windows, replace cracked glass, reseal frames, and adjust hardware to maintain insulation and functionality
- Testing and inspection: Ensure windows operate smoothly, are weatherproof, and comply with building codes and safety standards
- Customer service: Address client questions, provide guidance on window care, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintaining tools and work area: Keep tools in good condition, organize materials, and clean up debris after installation
