JOB DESCRIPTION


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to join our IT team. This role is responsible for leading enterprise infrastructure initiatives, managing Microsoft cloud and on-premises environments, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of critical systems across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, automation, and enterprise systems administration, along with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and execute project plans, risk assessments, and contingency strategies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available Windows Server environments (2019–2025).
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, Intune, and related cloud technologies.
  • Configure and administer Active Directory, LDAP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
  • Develop system standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, and systems-related issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Evaluate hardware, software, and vendor solutions to support organizational goals.
  • Support physical and virtual infrastructure deployments, including VMware and Hyper-V environments.
  • Automate administrative and operational tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies and infrastructure improvements.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
  • Senior-level experience in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • Windows Server 2019–2025
    • Microsoft Application Servers and technologies
    • Microsoft 365 / Office 365
    • Azure and Intune
    • Active Directory and LDAP administration
    • Group Policy design and configuration
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Core networking concepts
    • Operating systems
    • Enterprise troubleshooting methodologies
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience supporting both cloud-based and on-premises enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certifications (MCSE) or equivalent certifications in relevant technologies.
  • Experience with global technology deployments and enterprise rollouts.
  • Exposure to AI-related technologies, including:
    • Machine Learning
    • AI Engineering
    • Data Engineering / Data Science
  • Experience with modern device management and endpoint security solutions.
