JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Wine Educator to deliver exceptional wine education experiences to our guests. The Wine Educator is a key ambassador of The Estate Yountville, creating memorable wine experiences that build relationships, drive direct-to-consumer sales, and grow wine club membership. The ideal candidate is polished, engaging, sales-minded, and passionate about wine and luxury hospitality. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Membership Growth Convert qualified guests into wine club members and achieve individual sales goals. Build relationships that generate repeat purchases, referrals, and long-term loyalty. Conduct personalized follow-up, outbound outreach, release campaigns, and retention efforts. Contribute directly to estate revenue and sustained membership growth. Guest Experience & Wine Education Host private tastings with warmth, confidence, and professionalism. Deliver personalized service and share The Estate Yountville story through engaging wine education. Coordinate with culinary and events teams on elevated food-and-wine experiences. Maintain tasting spaces, materials, inventory, and presentation to luxury standards. Operations Execute opening, closing, reservations, guest communications, and daily tasting-room procedures. Support inventory control, member events, and cross-department coordination. Maintain exceptional organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Wine, luxury hospitality, fine-dining, or related experience preferred. Strong communication, presentation, sales, and relationship-building skills. Polished professional presence and confidence presenting membership opportunities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. POS and CRM experience preferred; weekend, holiday, and occasional evening availability required.
