Job Title: Assistant Winemaker / Lab Technician
Pay Rate: $20 - $28 per hour DOE
Job Schedule: Monday - Saturday (Hours may vary during harvest season)
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Assist with daily cellar operations, wine sampling, lab testing, fermentation monitoring, barrel work, additions, transfers, sanitation procedures, and general winery production support. Maintain accurate records, collect and analyze lab data, monitor wine quality, and assist the winemaking team during harvest and bottling operations. Support production activities while following all safety and quality control procedures.
Job Requirements
Previous winemaking, cellar, harvest, or winery lab experience required. Candidates should have knowledge of winery sanitation practices, fermentation processes, lab procedures, and general cellar operations. Must be detail oriented, dependable, able to work long hours during harvest when needed, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods of time. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Reliable transportation required.
