About the Role:
Hill Top Winery is looking for a passionate and personable server to join our team in the beautiful Valley Center, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of wine with guests while working in a stunning winery setting. If you thrive in a hospitality environment and enjoy creating memorable experiences, we want to hear from you! Approximately 30 hours per week.



Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests to the tasting room, ensuring a warm and inviting experience
• Guide guests through wine tastings, flights, and pairings with knowledgeable and engaging conversation
• Take and fulfill food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, bar, and service areas
• Educate guests on wine varietals, the winemaking process, and current wine club offerings
• Process transactions and handle point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Support wine club membership sales and special events as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a winery, tasting room, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred
• Passion for wine and eagerness to expand knowledge of viticulture and enology
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events
• RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification or willingness to obtain
• California food handler's permit or willingness to obtain
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
