Human Resources Specialist – Seasonal Location: Frisco, Colorado (Copper Mountain Resort).Compensation & Benefits • Proposed hiring rate: $18.50 – $20.40+ per hour, adjusted for experience.• Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employees/dependents and perks at several other resorts.• Discount programs for food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, and more.Job Summary You will be one of the first points of contact for guests and colleagues, providing a welcoming and professional experience. The Employee Experience Specialist sets the example for grooming, appearance, and customer service standards across Copper Mountain Resort.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Shift attention quickly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Initiate projects and maintain productivity without supervision.Adapt swiftly to changes in processes.Monitor shared email inboxes (HR, Recruitment, Gear Up, Housing) and respond promptly.Resolve customer conflicts independently and keep a positive attitude.Lock all work areas at shift end.Process credit‑card transactions following accounting guidelines.Run daily closing reports and manage internal/external mail per SOP.Participate in company meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.Follow all SOPs and the Employee Experience Division Service Level Standards.Treat conversations and data as confidential; protect sensitive information (wage, medical, personnel, EEO).Maintain an up‑to‑date appointment‑sign‑up calendar.Learn new information quickly and apply it on the job.Comply with all company policies, regulations, and laws.Keep phone and outbound email messages accurate and business‑relevant.Follow employee issues through to resolution, seeking assistance when needed.Own mistakes, troubleshoot, and implement solutions.Be reliable, punctual, and return promptly from breaks.Communicate clearly and maintain a credible impression.Meet Grooming Standards, Dress Code, and Uniform Standards.Manage time effectively to meet commitments and deadlines.Offer help to teammates without being asked.Maintain a clean work environment.Seek additional opportunities when routine tasks are complete.Demonstrate knowledge of Copper Mountain's mission, values, and structure.View change positively and help others adapt.Answer phones within three rings and route calls professionally.Greet and provide information to managers, supervisors, employees, guests, and applicants.Assist with front‑line operations support when required.Process onboarding tasks (I‑9, W‑4, handbook, background checks, Workday entries) for employees and volunteers.Monitor Workday task inbox, handle sensitive tasks, and recognize scope limits.Verify I‑9 forms in E‑Verify per federal guidelines.Assist with pay and other sensitive information queries.Support employee housing (moving, inquiries, Rent Manager training).Manage uniform store activities: laundering, distribution, inventory, and float between Gear Up and HR.Recruit: inform applicants of duties, salary, benefits; screen candidates; approve postings; coordinate communication; handle interviews, testing, reference and background checks; assist advertising and monitor recruiting costs.Perform additional duties as assigned; roles may evolve with POWDR‑Copper.Personal Attributes Honest and with the highest integrity.Manage confidential information professionally.Adhere to grooming guidelines and established policies.Support Core Values and set a positive example.Open to challenge policies constructively.Organize tasks and complete projects independently.Handle fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.Flexible with hours and days, including nights, holidays, and weekends.Prioritize personal and work time to maintain balance.Basic Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs.Ability to sit for 4+ hours.Comfortable speaking in front of people.Project voice in a high‑volume, loud setting.Carry out filing tasks for 4+ hours (computer).Criminal background check after acceptance.Valid U.S. driver's license.Work holidays and weekends.Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.High school diploma or equivalent required.At least 18 years old.Preferred Experience and Special Skills Bachelor's or Associate degree in Human Resources or related field.1–2 years of office/clerical experience, preferably in payroll or HR.Knowledge of Workday, RTP, and Microsoft Office.Bilingual skills considered an advantage.Prior customer‑service experience.Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, data entry).Background Check Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after acceptance, in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.Equal Employment Opportunity POWDR‑Copper Mountain, LLC is an equal‑opportunity employer.
