WIOA Student Intern (SY26-27)

Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and dedicated interns to participate in our internship program funded by the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act, through Holyoke Public Schools. As a student intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience ideally aligned with your career of interest.This position offers a stipend of approximately $2200 for the year, contingent upon completing required hours.

In Addition to Attending your internship each week, Key Responsibilities include:

1. Time Tracking:

• Submit monthly timesheets to accurately track work hours.
• Participate in a quarterly review conducted by the Advanced Learning Team (ADL) to assess completed hours and stipend eligibility.

Work Commitment:

• Commit to working 20 hours weekly

Hour Completion:

• Ensure you meet the required hours each wseek. If unable to complete the hours, you may need to:

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled student in good academic standing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to the organization.
