Shape the flow of power and data with LAPP
Since 1959, LAPP has grown from a family startup in Stuttgart to a global leader in cable and connection technology. We remain fully family-owned, with about 5,800 colleagues across more than 80 countries. Here, a maker mindset meets long-held values: room to explore ideas, flexibility with responsibility, and a culture that values every perspective.
A day in the life
You arrive for your shift, review the job packet and customer specifications, and prep your extrusion or machining line. You dial in tooling, verify measurements with micrometers and calipers, and run first-article checks. As production ramps, you monitor throughput, adjust parameters to maintain quality, and keep the area organized and safe. When it’s time for a changeover, you tear down, set up for the next run, and help a teammate troubleshoot a machine—because great output is a team sport.
