At Prysmian, what you do matters. Wherever you work and whatever your specialty, you’ll help raise the bar for excellence and help transform the world around us.
A day in this role
Picture your morning in the lab, prioritizing test queues for compounds, wire, and cable assemblies. You calibrate and run electrical and mechanical tests, verify that inspection activities meet ISO 9001-driven Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and document results with precision. By mid-morning, you’re on the production floor supporting a line changeover and performing a focused process audit. After lunch, you join the Quality Engineer and Quality Manager to dissect a customer complaint, help define corrective actions, and plan follow-up verification. You train an associate on inspection equipment, data entry, and required tests before preparing for a supplier audit review. You wrap up with a Continuous Improvement and 6S walk, capturing opportunities to drive safer, more efficient operations.
