Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Wire Cutter. This position plays an important role in preparing materials for the manufacturing process by cutting and handling wires according to exact specifications.
What You'll Do
  • Review Bill of Materials (BOM) and identify potential shortages
  • Follow routing documentation for run requirements, assembly steps, and fixturing
  • Cut and/or strip wires using tools, machines, or processes as instructed
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy
  • Deliver completed product for Quality Assurance (QA) inspection
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Dispose of non-conforming product as directed
  • Support continuous improvement of efficiency and quality
  • Work overtime as required and maintain reliable attendance
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Comfortable with computers and basic software used in production
  • Able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to cross-train
Physical Requirements
  • Good hand-eye coordination and fine hand/finger manipulation
  • Repetitive wrist and hand movement
  • Ability to lift moderate weights, bend, and stoop as needed
  • Tolerance for moderate noise and minimal fumes
  • Ability to remain seated for long periods

Requirements

This is a 2nd shift position, however training will take place on 1st shift for several weeks before moving to the 2nd shift. The differential is paid during training.
