Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develops and maintains cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs.

• Supports analysis and design reviews for electrical product designs.

• Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, and antennas.

• Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies including rejection tags, production action requests, and shop revision requests.

• Follows documented processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.

• Supports the development of statements of work for electrical design tasks.

• Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.

• Analyzes functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture.

• Uses CADDStation, CATIA, and/or Enovia for design and modeling.

• Supports BCA Programs including 737 and 777 for equipment installation and wire installation engineering.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

• Experience developing and maintaining cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs.

• Experience developing electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing, and antennas.

• Experience providing engineering design disposition on discrepancies (rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).

• Experience with CADDStation for wire design engineering.

• Experience with CATIA and/or Enovia for wire and equipment installation engineering (beginner level acceptable).

• Experience with electrical product design and documentation processes.

• Experience supporting design reviews and technical analysis.

• Experience with BCA Programs including 737 and 777.

• Ability to travel domestically when needed.
