Program, Set-up, and operate (2) Sodick wire EDM machines
Set-Up and Operate (1) Sodick hole popper EDM machine (Manual Controls)
MasterCAM experience is a plus. If the candidate doesn’t have this experience, we will train.
Need very strong set-up skill. We are not a production shop. Setting up new jobs is a daily occurrence.
Need strong planning skills. All upcoming jobs will be listed on an Excel list. The candidate is responsible for looking ahead to get all materials, tool, and programs together before the job starts.
Need strong blueprint reading skills. This includes basic knowledge of GD&T.
The candidate will need to have basic tools. Dial indicator. .001” and .0001”. Allen wrenches, box end wrenches, Micrometers, Calipers, etc.
Candidate will be responsible for designing fixtures. Either in CAD or with hand sketches.
2 years with programming, set-up, and operating wire EDM machines.
5+ in the Tool & Die trade as a manual machinist.
No sponsorship visa (H1-B, etc) candidates at this time, sorry.
