Wire EDM Operator- 2nd Shift

Nesco Resource is looking for 2nd Shift- Wire EDM Operators located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday- Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
***Training will be on 1st Shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) for the first few weeks** *

Pay: $21.28/hour ($19.00/hour + 12% Shift Differential)

Position Overview: Set-up and operate several EDM machines on 2nd Shift.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the set-up and operation of multiple EDM machines for maximum efficiency
• Use of hand measurement tools
• Be aware of department goals and workmanship
• Collect information to work with process engineering to improve processes, reduce scrap and increase productivity.
• Other responsibilities as required by the EDM Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• 3- 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production work instructions, routers and specifications.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from operators and to upper management and auditors.
• Spanish language skills not required but would be an asset.
